My car came with blue stripes (which look great but I'm not 100% satisfied with blue)
So I'm considering removing them.
I didn't order the car specifically from the dealer. But got everything else exactly as I wanted.
What's your guys opinion on removing factory stripes from the car?
Would this be something that could damage the car/paint or lower value in any way?
I have 1200 miles on it. Been garaged when it's not driven and I'm only concerned if the sun would have left an uneven fade in paint already or if that's possible this early on.
I've even considered adding new lines over the existing ones. The only down side is that I'm getting invisible bra installed and I would have to either cover stripes before and layer over originals. Or I can remove them then add clear bra and then add new stripes. Not sure on the best way to do that.
I don't plan on having this car for resale value in 20+ years or anything like that.
I simply bought it to enjoy every second I drive it as my daily driver. Which I do... thoroughly [emoji51][emoji1360]
Thanks in advance for any feedback or experience in pulling off your stripes on the GT350.
