freaking heavy! :p in all seriousness, im not sure. I did weigh my stock mufflers and they were about 25lbs each IIRC. also, I cut the resonator out and its atleast 25lbs. I think a decent aftermarket exhaust will probably save you about 40lbs. even more if you go catless.

You think so? The thing is the stock GT catback is 71lbs so it can't be heavier than that

im sure the weights are probably pretty close. the pipping is pretty light...most of the weight is in the mufflers/resonator

I also weighted the stock mufflers on the V6 they were about 26 Lbs a piece , I took them to the scraper I had a receipt for the metal weight.

I am not sure of the weight but on the Hooker site their catback design states " Up to 53% weight savings over OE exhaust, a saving of 32 LBS. (w/o muffler design) and 21 LBS. (w/ muffler design)". Based on the 53%, a rough estimate would be in the 60lb range.

Ya I was thinking 10 to 15 lbs lighter than the GT exhaust. That's very helpful thank you.

Put my full stock car-back on my super scientifically accurate bathroom scale , and got about 58 pounds. I'd round it to 60.
