Do you have an estimated date of completion for this step-by-step MFT retrofit write-up?

Wow, I am very impressed w/ what you guys have been able to do.
I am really looking forward to the "how to" thread about how to do this.

A couple of questions:
Are you able to get HD radio stations w/ this mod ?
if not is there a way to be able to get the HD stations ?
when playing a CD or from your ph, are you able to see the info on the song playing ?

thanks in advance :)

Have the A/C controls been figured out yet? Just a curiousity question, as there is still manual A/C in non premium's, but I just want to find out if there are any new advancements.

I think there are at least three ways we could get climate working.

1. A black box that converts can bus commands from the dual zone controls to something the manual climate can understand.

2. Reprogram the climate control module to that of a premium. This way the controls and module will be on the same page.

3. Find some combination of As Built Data for the front panel that will allow the dual zone controls to work with the manual system.

Zack, I think #2 could be potentially the easiest and cheapest to achieve out of all 3. What would be needed is someone with a premium that could borrow it so that jmr061 could copy it, and then use it to overwrite it. At least that's the way I see it.

I dont think the difference in hardware will allow this.

I haven't done enough research to know all of the hardware differences... Does the manual climate even exist on the CAN network?

I think the front panel reprogramming option would be the best/ most likely to work.

There are different buttons in different locations. I dont thing tricking it to thinking it was the other would turn out will.

The manual system is on the can bus but without picking and choosing which signals to change would confuse the heck out of the system.

Yea worth a shot though.... The premium bezel will be the easiest "plug and play" option we have if the climate controls could be worked out.

On that topic though my bezel has shipped today! I will hopefully receive it on Saturday but it is unlikely...

I have a brand new 2016 non premium...is this still possible? I assume the 2015s non premiums are the same as the 2016s

Would have to get shop manuals for a 2016 to know for sure but I would assume so. The base sync system didn't change for 2016.

Those Chinese radios are all over Ebay still, someone has had to have bought one by now

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...X2015+m.TRS2&_nkw=2015+mustang+radio&_sacat=0
I ordered one as well as several others but it appears that they are not even in production. I was given the run around on the radio and finally just got my money back. I was told that it had shipped 3 times, that it was lost in shipment, that I owed $15 more because they sold it too cheap, and that they were returned to the manufacturer for a defect.
