Hey everyone, I'm looking into different Tune options for my Mach 1 A10. I had a Steeda Tune on my 15GT Manual and was happy with it.
I'd like to know from anyone with a 18-21 A10 that has a Steeda Tune how it changed the shifting on the 10-speed
Thanks!

I would love to know. But since I have lots of warranty left. I won't be finding out.

I am dying to tune and modify. The trans programming interests me most.

Really comes down to what you're doing with the car. We use Lund tuning for all of our shop builds, personal cars and custom packages. Lund has the Coyote platform dialed in for sure and you can't go wrong.

Any tune on the A10 is really going to wake it up as well.

Feel Free to DM me or call with any questions.

What do you mean, wake it up? I don't want more aggressive shifting, that's for sure. I want less hunting and less jerking when braking and downshifting. It's way too aggressive on the downshifting now if you are braking fast after acceleration in Sport mode.
Does Lung fix this or make it more aggressive?

Yeah, 91+ tune with intake and SCT tuner cost me ~$800 5 years ago on my 15 and made noticeable gains. Dynoed out at 409rwhp
Guess the issue Matt, the tuner from Steeda is having now is that SCT doesn't have the codes for the 21 cpu. Thats probably why Lund switched to that little plug in dongle.
I just think Steeda is a great company and like to support them when I can.

I believe Lund switched from the N gauge because they are no longer sold. Plenty of Steeda parts on mine, but I'll stick with Lund for a tune.

The FR tune is great for the auto and it keeps your warranty. It's more expensive than the others though, that's the only real downside but worth it for the warranty aspect.

I wasn't bringing my car back to Ford for anything, so mods started early.

Ford performance does not make a tune for the Mach 1 and when I've called and asked their tech support I was told there is no plans for one so this doesn't really apply
Got me there. But FR still means Ford Racing which I'm surprised you didn't guess. Maybe he should have said FP not FR????

The Mach1 has basically the FR tune in aspect to the 10R80. When I spoke to an FR rep, they mentioned that the FR tune is heavily based on the Mach1 OEM tune file. Obviously there's other differences so it can't be 100% the same, but you pretty much have the best OEM 10R80 tunefile possible. You won't gain much from going with an aftermarket tune.
