@David@Steeda are there any issues with using K&N recharging kit on this filter? I couldn't imagine any reason why it wouldn't be advisable, just thought I'd ask as I'd prefer a red color ;)
This what I plan to do once it needs to be cleaned. I have a once used K&N kit sitting in a cabinet.
The red should go better with our Ruby Red cars.

No problem at all, will make the filter red!

Would you have to excessively oil the filter to turn it from blue to red? I've never had an oiled filter but I'm about to once I install this. I'm thinking the red would look better in my orange engine bay even though blue is my favorite color.

The filter is actually grey, and the blue color will dissipate within a month of use.

Steeda FTW! Mine is supposed to arrive next Tuesday, can't wait. Thanks David@Steeda!
Such a creative way to get that exhaust out of the way!

I'm waiting for my Steeda intake to arrive for my 2016 GT. I was told it would be here by The end of next week. I have two questions. First, does the intake come with the parts to delete the sound tube? And second does the box go over the top of the hood vent the allowing water to get into the intake, and also blocking off one of the hoods heat extractors??David@Steeda

It comes with the sound tube delete and it doesn't cover the vent at the top but it also doesn't let the engine bay air to escape through that vent either

If it doesn't allow air to escape from that vent then it may cause air pressure under the hood from what I saw on a video posted here. Has anyone experienced any good lifting at high speed. 80 +

I've heard you can remove the rubber weather stop in the back of the engine bay under the hood to allow some air to escape at high speeds.

Someone try to see if there is anything done to the EU cars differently for that since they don't have hood vents on the GT's
