Thanks guys
I don't have a manual gauge so he must be using the factory app.
So...if it is reading 1.5 ,that could be really 5.5?
That would be awesome .
I think he will be relieved (as I am )as he has literally been pulling his hair out trying to figure this out !

Other people have reported good luck with their factory gauge, mine was not accurate at all... Get a manual gauge on the thing to check it...

My gauge seems to be pretty accurate now. I have a base GT and get the boost reading from digital display.

I wonder why some are more accurate than others. Also when I run about 5-6 lbs it is really off. But when I am near 10lbs it seems to be more accurate... Weird:shrug:

Well, tested again with a manual gauge and only showing 2 psi
He rechecked every thing again and still can't find what is amiss!
Also now getting p2006 and p2007 code which has something to do with runner control(IMRC=Intake manifold runner control)
I am hoping this has something to do with the starter tune from BBR limiting boost .
I went ahead and did the step logs but not heard back yet after 24 hours.
installer did some of his own logs and found throttle is only opening 85 %.

Who is BBR?

What wastegate springs are in the wastegates?

They usually come with several and you have to pair the correct springs, for the desired base pressure.

Thanks man,I will ask my installer about that.
BBR=blow by blow racing.
I bought the kit from them with boost controller and boost a pump .I already had my injectors .Also having Chris do remote tunning.
In fairness they have been fairly quick to respond to questions (at least Liz has)
It has not been more than 24 hours since I sent log and they told me it may take 24/48 hours .
Chris is also going to Joliet for NMRA so hoping for some
answers before he leaves.

I also wanted to correct an Impression I may have given that Hellion has not been responsive .
Jeff had been in contact with John who had asked I check the boost with a manual controller.

I don't mean to hijack OP's thread and certainly not here to badmouth Hellion ,BBR or my installer.
I am just posting to see if fellow members can help or have any ideas.

Obviously it is frustrating since I was much looking forward to it been done.I am sure it will be worked out eventually but patience has never been a strong point of mine.

Brad(my Installer) just confirmed he checked the base springs that came with the kit are on correctly.
He rightly suggests I wait to see if it is related to the tune(I have heard of some base files preventing boost).
I may ask Hellion for their own base tune.

Oh no. P2006 and P2007... that's like having the red ring of death on your xbox. I was having that problem with my car too, same codes. I ditched the IMRC by going with a boss intake manifold.

Not heard anything back from Hellion tech as John is going to be racing until Teusday.
Most frustrating !
Almost now wishing I just did a "straightforward" supercharger .

Shoot!
I am praying that not be the case.
I looked back at your posts on the issue.Did you not have some mechanical problems with the IMRC .My installer said the IMRC was not involved in the install.
So I assume it's was not a tune issue in your case.

Don't you have to make the modifications to make the boss intake fit?
HPP also reported some losses with the boss manifold as did bama IIRC.
I still have the intake manifold off my 12,maybe I could use that if it
Comes down to that ?
Below is how the PCV looks.
My installer had concerns about oil blowing back and suggested a catch can, but for now followed Hellions instructions/

I don't know what the problem was. The kit was hooked up 100% correctly. I think everyone might be having IMRC issues but just on a smaller scale... when it comes to surging. Your car surge at all?

The 12 intake would eliminate the IMRC. Yes, you have to notch the hood to get the boss intake to fit. I am not sure what the deal is with people losing power with boss intake. The inital test that was done, I forgot who did the swap, but power was only lost down low and it gained 20+ up top. I believe lund is the one who did the tune/assisted with it.

My installer (Brad),John @Hellion and Chris from BBR all rock!!:headbang:

All 3 are at Joliet for the NMRA (Brad just moved in to the final round of modular muscle).

Chris from BBR called me personally(in between tunning race cars!) to discuss my car.

what service!

He and John,Hellion owner met up with Brad to discuss the issues my car was having and think they have found the fix for Brad to try when he gets back(it looks like a hose needs to be re routed different -something to do with how the PCV is set up).

I was actual going to drive the car up there-a 3 hour drive from my home in Indiana (they were happy to look at it if I did) but I am leaving for a family trip tomorrow(driving a 12 seater van full of kids to Florida-oh what fun!!) first thing in the morning .My wife would kill me if something happened and I did not get back on time.
