Got my Stainless Power Headers from Teambeefcake and started the install today.. But before I did I looked over the headers real close .. These headers are very very nice , welds are very nice looking ..Someone PM me and told me the Stainless Power Headers didn't come with the power cone that the SW Headers does , well they are wrong because the sure do have the power cone in the collector like the SW have ..

The install is a hard but Headers on 440 in a 69 Cuda are much harder ..I have both sides on now and the fit is GREAT .. Then I went to install the easy parts ,Hi flow cats and the pipes to stock exhaust .. Trouble:eyebulge: ... SW packed the wrong pipes .. They sent me the 2 1/2 connector's and should have sent the 2 1/4 connector's to fit the stock exhaust ..The part number on the box was right so someone slipped up and boxed them wrong :frusty:..

No problem , Terry at Beefcake is taking care of the problem and sending me the right pipes ..

These are great Headers and Cats for a great price , 1095.00 ..
Can wait for my first test ride !!!!

I had these same headers installed last week. The shop said the headers looked really nice and fit great. I have these catless with the magnaflow comp full 3 inch and it is almost too loud, but sounds beastly.

That is why I went with the Cats and stock ( suitcase ) ..The car is pretty loud right now with just the Roush Axle Back .. I didn't want any drone or for it to be too loud either ..

Looking inside the factory resonator with a flash light it's a straight shot right though ..I can see why adding a X or an H Pipe doesn't add much if any extra power ... You might loss a few pounds getting rid of it but for 3 or 4 HP it's not worth the drone or extra sound ...

The New high flow Cats unlike the factory Cats you can see day light though them .. I hope they don't increase the sound to much .. I want the HP without being to loud ..

Awesome good luck with the install. That's exactly why I'm putting the factory catback back on after I do my headers. I can't stand any drone.

Very nice. The stainless power set I put on did not have fire cones in them, my stainless works do, maybe it was just a goof up with that set.

Nice. It's nice to see people do their own installs.

What is a fair rate for labor/hr? $100? Just curious as I want to get headers installed when I get my car and dont want to get ripped off.

This is all good to hear as I plan on buying a set of those with the o/r leads with a factory sized connection to my MBRP race cat back, and I also plan on doing the install myself with no lift, just putting my car up in the air on jack stands in my 2 car garage for a couple days. I did a LT install on my 06 GT the same way and it wasn't so bad. Any pains in the ass with the install??

Hardest bolt to get off was passenger side far top bolt, only because the damn ac is right there. Adjustable ratchet wrenches was the only way to get to it for me took it off a few clicks at a time.

I had read that one was a PITA.. do you mean the ratcheting wrenches with the pivoting closed end head? Do you remember what size it is?
