Hi all,

Got my TSB in today and they will order the parts to arrive on Monday. I was ecstatic at that news until they told me my side mirror repairs will be $620...a piece of the rubber cover on the side mirror handle broke off during a merging lane accident so they have to order to whole cover to replace it.

I had the new rotors and brake pads installed on Wednesday, it took them approx one hour. 180 miles on them so far and not a single squeal. I asked the service person what is different with the new set of brakes. The very cute blond service person said she would read the TSB for me and indicated they have a new anti rust coating on the rotors. Oh my god. I should know better than to ask.....
I suspect I have a different type of brake pad. The braking is still great.

I dropped off my Mustang today at the dealership. The mechanic asked if he could drive so we drove around for a while and were unable to replicate the squealing noise with my luck. After more time with the car, the dealership now has my TSB parts on order.

I found out from Joe Green that dealers aren't able to stockpile these parts. Ford is requiring the dealers to provide them with the VINs of the cars that the new rotors are being installed on. If they get the rotors and aren't put on a car which means they're trying to hold them for inventory, they will be charged for them. Hopefully this provides some peace of mind for those still waiting on the parts.

Talk about sweet and sour. Contacting my dealer and getting the parts ordered was incredibly easy. Getting them installed? Not so much.

Weekends are the only time I have to get the work done but for some reason they are COMPLETELY booked for tomorrow so I have to deal with this embarrassing noise for another week [emoji31]

Got my new brakes installed yesterday and have yet to hear a sound from them. Its nice to be able to brake in silence for once.... almost forgot the sound of that.:headbonk:Anyways did a couple of slow u turns without any sounds so hopefully that means its gone for good!:cheers:

I am also having issues getting them and I placed my order the day after the TSB was released! I am extremely upset that it seems there are plenty of people who possibly ordered after me and have gotten theirs done already. My noise is continually getting worse and making me not want to drive my car. Is there anyone else here who is having trouble getting them?

Got mine replaced today...so far so good!

I was in and out in just over an hour today. So far everything is good. On the invoice they gave me shows two rotors and 1 brake lining set.
