I want you both to feel proud of your Pony. Have you all let your dealer know about the concern yet? As there can be many causes to a specific issue, I recommend checking into it further. Send over your mileage; I'll see what options are available on my end. :)

Jeff :ford:
Jeff,

I for one have spoken to my dealer and was snubbed. The problem is, just about everyone here who is having this issue is having the EXACT SAME ISSUE. I have seen the videos and read the complaints and they sound EXACTLY the same. I don't think there is anything different with our issues and I believe it is the same thing. I would just like to be able to drive my car without worrying about it making the noise a dump truck or school bus makes when I brake and having everyone look at me, thinking, wow what a piece of crap. I am sure Ford doesn't want that either. It is embarrassing for the both of us. I also don't want my dealer to A) tell me this is a normal issue and B) they don't have time to look at my brakes to replicate the issue, when they had my car for four hours and the issue was replicated in front of most of their staff when the car was driven in. This is very concerning to me, more concerning than being told it's a normal issue. This tells me that they don't care. This is my 7th Mustang and as a LOYAL Ford customer I want to be treated like one. So this is where you come in and why many of us have sent messages to either you or Rachel hoping for help. Sorry for the long post but I believe every Mustang owner, whether this be their first Mustang or tenth, deserves the same treatment and we deserve to be treated how customers should be treated. Like someone said earlier it would be better to say a fix is coming in the Summer rather than to keep saying two weeks, two weeks. I hope you understand our concerns.

I've had it on every performance vehicle I've owned. No matter what anyone tells you, you're either going to put up with it (it will get better with wear and warm weather) or you change to a non high performance pad.

Should It be doing this at over 1500 miles? I just have never heard of other high performance vehicles having these issues

I disagree. The difference between what these people are experiencing and what a semi-metallic brake pad exhibit are different. Numerous performance vehicles (other manufacturers) on the road that don't make brake sounds/squeals.

Sorry...that's a whole lotta Nope.

Now 5000 miles on my car in almost-constant, sunny 70-degree San Diego...with Fed-Ex truck brake noises. Clearly a manufacturing defect.

Just my experience fellas. If it's something different for you, then I hope Ford comes through fast for you all.

I think Ford has already acknowledged that this is not a normal issue by saying that they are working on a TSB for it.

I absolutely understand, Mike. I see your CSM reached out yesterday and left a message. Were you able to get back in contact with her?

I also messaged ford service with no response...is there a fix for this squel? Also I see there was a recall on the fuel presser sensor not being seated properly... Is something I Need to get checked if I bought it in early January or was this issue resolved? Do The dealerships check these things before letting you drive it off the lot?
