Mine is getting worse. It's gone from only the very first stop when it's cold, to every time the brakes are even a little cool.

Not cool.

I don't want to rush out an get a band-aid that won't work. But if there's a REAL solution coming in 6 weeks (presumably along with a TSB) it would be great if FordService would post that on here when it's for sure, and when it's available.

Yeah, I don't think changing the pads or sanding/chambering the pads will fix the actual issue. I think it is either the rotors themselves with some sort of surfacing issue, or the clips that are used to hold the pads in place inside the caliper.
My bet is on the calipers. It's a vibration sound, which is usually the pad vibrating in the caliper. That's why the silicone goop (Disc Brake Quiet) works a lot of the time. I'm not going to try that on my car since it's in warranty and I want Ford to tell me what the issue really is, but if Ford stonewalls and wants to replace components with identical parts, I may try a shot of DBQ down the road.

My car does some basic squeaking when it's cold, but it goes away after the first bit of braking.
Give it a month or so. It gets worse. And it does suck.

Yup! I wish I knew which car was yours but they told me they cleaned all the grease off the pads and backing plates. They also lightly sanded the pads and chamfered the edges. No noise so far, but the real test will be when I drive it tomorrow morning because the noise always seemed to be worse when it was wet or cold outside. My SA also advised me of the official fix that will be coming out in 4-6 weeks if it was still a problem.
When they fixed the PP EB, which does have the same braking system as the GT, they received the rotors, pads and calipers already assembled and the dealer was told not to make any adjustments but just to bolt them on. The fix that is coming is in the form of new parts. Not sure if it's just replacing everything with new existing parts or improved components. This issue is only happening on the west coast. The Ford Engineer is going to come to the west coast to see for himself what the heck is causing this horrible braking noise. Makes me think that if there is a fix coming and the Engineer wants to come see for himself, is there really already a fix? Hmmmmmm......

I had the caliper replaced and that did not fix the issue. As far as I know Ford has not found a fix for this.
Did they replace all 3 components or just the calipers?

I've been following this thread and had been having this issue since about a week after getting my GT. Ive now hit about 1100 miles and I haven't noticed as much squealing even though it's been raining and sitting in one place, occasionally for many days.

Its appears to be 90 percent gone, but not gone for good yet. Hoping it will go away on its own.

Just posting my update.

Problem is also happening in North Texas.

They only replaced the right front caliper. They had done some swapping of components between the left and right and found that the sound stayed on the right front. The caliper replacement seemed to be a last effort before turning the issue over to Ford engineering.

Brake squeal is common with performance cars/brakes. Just get used to it and know it's normal and don't worry about it. All of my cars have done this...even my motorcycle does it.
I get a slight squeal from my Versa's brakes on occasion. What would you attribute that to?

This has happened to me now that the California mornings are down in the low 40's. The first few break pump causes the squeal. After that no squeak.

Mine happens whether the brakes are hot or cold. BUT only while turning left NEVER when the wheels are pointed straight.

Took my 2015 GT in for the same issue and Ford won't touch it. Video below:
