Squealing sound when braking?

Got a V6 with the stock brakes. The brakes squeak when breaking between 50-60 mph and again between 25-35 mph. Happens under light breaking while slowing down. Its quite loud and seems to happen after a little bit of driving.

Car is mostly highway and bumper to bumper driven. Dealer documented it but said the brakes looked fine. Not sure if I should go back, the cars a little over 4000 miles and bought it late december.

I finally got this done today at Pines Ford (great experience). I work from home, so I have low mileage and was waiting for my oil change to get it all done at the same time. I had to wait in the lounge, because I didn't have a ride. The service guy comes over and tells me that the brakes definitely squealed, I'm covered by the TSB, and the parts were in stock. He even mentioned my 1"spacers, and told me that the tech would need to remove them for the repair. He said he instructed the tech to not use an impact wrench, but rather use a torque wrench to the proper specs when putting them back on. I was out of there in pretty short order.

Check with your dealership to see if your Ecoboost falls under the TSB for squealing brakes. If it has the GT brakes (PP for the Ecoboost), then it might be covered in the TSB.

Bringing this thread back up because I've experienced the same thing. Installed new wheels and tires and have not heard any brake squeal. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

They replaced the front rotors and brake pads.

The squeal happens hot or cold and at the end of a stop, right before the vehicle comes to a stop never when first applied.

TSB will not cover you. Depending on your mileage, you might complain to your dealer and see if they'll do anything (brakes aren't typically covered under the basic warranty), or, you just might be needing new front brakes if you have some miles on there. Pull a wheel and take a look.

20k miles & its been doing it for a while. Most recent inspection last month when in for service shows pad wear is ok at this time.

They don't "start to squeal" at any mileage. Brake noise is entirely dependent on the conditions under which the vehicle is operated. In other words, temperature, humidity, air quality, driving conditions, etc.
