?I love driving in sport/sport + on the highway and light traffic but I really can't imagine wanting to be in sport all the time anyway
I have the option to put my wheel in the sport mode...which I love. its stiff and holds in cornering really well. as for the throttle response, is there any way to improve this without having a premium? Including in city traffic? Like, if you're at a stop sign, and there's another stop sign fifty yards down the road, and then another stop sign fifty yards down the road after that, and then a red light 100 yards after that... what's the point of having it in Sports+??
I'm always in sport+ or track.
Better throttle and steering response. I get why you auto guys wouldn't like it in traffic. But shift patterns aside, I find both the Normal steering and throttle response to be absolutely numb. Joyless to use.Including in city traffic? If you really did floor it, the same thing would have happened in Normal. No? I thought traction control was only disabled in track mode.Leaving work the other day, I was in sport. 2nd gear from 5 mph and floored it to get in front of traffic. Tires broke loose and I got all squirley.
In normal mode, that would not have happened. I would have been rear ended for merging too slow because engine power was cut.
Oh, I always always keep the steering in Comfort mode -- takes too much effort otherwise, I always like to steer with one or two fingers unless it's really spirited driving.Better throttle and steering response. Haven't driven a base, so can't comment on the first part. But you can DEFINITELY tell the difference with the steering modes.Question, I just recently found out that my base GT has sport mode (double tapping the TC button in very rapid succession). Is this sport mode the same as the sport/sport+ mode in the PP cars? Also, when toggling through the steering modes, I can't really tell a difference. Could it be that I'm not driving the car hard enough, or do I need to be in sport mode to really 'feel' a difference?
