This is not functional at all and I really really don't want to be mean but this is gross and looks like a skateboard. Listen to aftermarket companies that make spacers for track purposes. Steeda recommends 1' front and 20mm rear. and this is what it looks like on my car. I didn't use locktite or whatever I just used my tq wrench and tightened them to 150 pounds.

I want to do this. I like the look. Simply concerned about fender clearance now that the car is lowered. Time to pick Rod's brain at Steeda.

I would think you would be fine, especially running the stock wheels and tires. But it never hurts to ask the experts:thumbsup:

Yup ....... Don't want to deal with the cost of install/removal if bad fitment. Plus, I'd own the return shipping costs.

Just as an FYI, 52mm is OVER 2 INCHES :D. 1 inch = 25.4 mm.
Really, I am not fluid with metric units.
But that is what I thought I remembered from when I bought them.(which was a while ago). They are definitely not 2" so I must have transposed the numbers in my head. I would have to change that to 25 mm. Then. Thanks for the heads up.

I posted wrong size, mine are 25 mm.
So approx. 1" front and back. I just don't have the fronts on in the picture.

old loctite is useless. You have to chase the threads to get anything meaningful out of a torque wrench. That said torque to spec and forget the locktite. What morons are suggesting to locktite lug nuts?
They do recommend that on spacer nuts, not the wheel lugs.

Unless you tilt them inward like some punk Civic ricer, your tire with bang into the fender and cut into the tire or damage the fender itself.
Not to mention, it's "illegal" (quotes by design ...) and you're going to devastate the side on your car (splash guards are probably a good idea with any spacer).

Per @Elp_jc above, 1" == 25.4mm, that extra little 0.4mm helps, so if it was the choice between 1" vs. actual 25mm (not some rounded number), I'd go with the 25mm.

I'd also add, I ran 23mm in the rear, because the 25mm are a touch too thick. That's as small of a bolt-on spacer as you could put in the rear and clear the lug pockets on the Perf Pack wheels (might be different with Bullit wheels). Motorsports Tech makes the 23mm, they're a but more pricey

Mine __mostly__ cleared with a 23mm rear and a 25mm front running BMR SP080 springs, I had some inner fender liner contact on the rear with cargo and a really bouncy roads, but I'm talking it happened like 4-5 times in a few years. I ran a spec alignment for a PP car (so no radical camber).

I guess that couldn't hurt, I mean, with the wheels off you can access the fasteners so they're not too difficult to check.

However, holy shit, I had the worst time getting my spacers off, I even used a little anti seize (use a lot apparently ...), but they totally fused to the rotor hat, I wound up having to build a puller with a huge wrench, sockets and use a crank puller - hahaha, I laugh now, but it came apart at one point and launched part of my contraption across the garage.
