Funny note, 1900 rpm launch worked pretty well considering the junk Goodyears on the 20's. 2000 to 2100 the car started spinning the tires while I was waiting for the tree to come down on run 3.

I was able to lower the revs by the 3rd bulb and then floored it so that contributed to the 12.5.

Looks funny on video, I'll post the runs tomorrow, they're all cellphone so not the best quality.

I took the car to a back road and set it to drag mode with TC off, ran it a little past the 1/4 mile and sure enough, it hit 7th gear and went flat, about 2 seconds later it started hauling ass again, so there is something going on in Denmark, whatever the hell it is, no clue but damn the car felt good until that happened.

I just unplugged the battery until I get home tomorrow around 5pm to plug it back in. I'm going to call Lund and a few others including some well known dealerships as well for some ideas.

I think it's going to be a battle to get Ford to try and figure it out and I hate letting dealerships handle the car when they don't know whats going on.

I'll post back tomorrow with my findings. If anybody has an idea that doesn't include wind resistance I'm open.

Damn it man, that makes perfect sense! Ok, I'll try to find a way to get my cell phone positioned so I don't drive into the woods while trying this.

Hold the traction control button until it turns advance trac off, not just traction control. On my 15, this can be as much as a 6mph difference if it kicks in on the 3-4 shift.

Hold the traction control button until it turns advance trac off, not just traction control. On my 15, this can be as much as a 6mph difference if it kicks in on the 3-4 shift.
It's happening on the 6 to 7 shift, possible chance of spin = 0 but I didn't know about the extra hold time. Do you think it could be kicking in on accident at 114 mph?

EDIT: When it does kick in, does the acceleration go suddenly flat right after the shift, then a second or so later suddenly take off again?

^This. It does it on my ecoboost as well.

Frack, ok, when I get home I'll plug the battery back in and find a backroad where I hopefully can wring it out for a full 1/4 mile pass without getting pulled over and the car impounded. :eek:

You can datalog and look at TPS to confirm it's the ECU doing AdvanceTrac's bidding. Something weird in the programming for the 10R80, some aftermarket tunes might address it.

You.can datalog torque source and see if something in the torque tables is pulling power,it should read 0 at whatever area u are concerned at.
