Lol sounds OK.. But if you have any concerns you should visit the dealer instead of playing around yourself.

Cars brand new, better to get it recorded so if it is an issue they can escalate it

Agreed, when I first ran into problem with the car sticking at 7800rpm I talked to them, (the dealer I bought from) it was like talking to guys in their first year of mechanics school, they had no clue, I should NOT know more about the car than the supposed "experts".

If anybody know of a great Mustang dealer with good mechanics let me know which one it is so I can talk to them.

No, ONE Camaro guy jumped on it and several others have yanked him back in line. Don't start a fight where there is none to be had. 12.2 is an awesome time, especially with the issues Loki-GT mentioned. 12.0 is an awesome time. 11.8 is an awesome time.

Agreed, I really wasn't concerned with the elapsed time, it's how the car behaved after the 1000ft mark, like it couldn't get past 114 mph, it just stayed there. :shrug:

I'm going to call a couple of places (dealers) on Monday to discuss the problem and discuss logging with Lund or somebody like them.

Something is amiss, the battery is unplugged right now, I'll be home tomorrow to reconnect.

Most of us are car guys who appreciate all cars. nothing wrong with checking out other brand forums, I do it all the time. I have owned Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford and like them all. I owned nothing But GM performance cars up until 2011 when I bought my first Ford ever. my first Chrysler performance car came in 2016. I have zero tolerance for guys who use terms like Crapstang, Turdmaro etc etc.

I wonder if disconnecting the battery overnight to reset the CPU would help, it's gonna start the adaptive learning process over again so that might be annoying.

Can't argue but it's all I can do for now, one thing I loved about my 85 LX 5.0 was how easy it was to work on, literally easy.

For the A10 with the 3.55 axle, what gear would it be in at the end of the 1/4 mile?

I don't know the A10 ratios but maybe it's just not geared well for the 1/4 mile. I literally bought mine an hour ago and haven't driven much, but with 10 speeds and the 3.55 axle holy crap does it shift up and down a lot. I'm not sure if it really needs this much axle gear in it since 1st gear in the A10 is really low anyway.

It's AWESOME for the 1/4 mile, check out Youtube videos of a bunch of A10 18's running low 11's and even 10's.

My problem is an apparent cut in power, it's not a problem with ratios or gears.

I created an account there, it would be interesting to get opinions from the "other" side.

Tomorrow I'm going to find a backroad and do a full 1/4 mile run timed by the car and if possible a video pointed to the gauges to show it if it does it again.

I don't own a GoPro or anything like that but I'll make something work.

I'm also going to post the videos my friend recorded with his phone, sadly they don't show anything helpful for this issue.

I found it. I'm hoping to find somebody who is adept at reading timeslips and understands what I see in them which corresponds with what I felt in the car.

He and FastCarFanBoy seem to have their own little thing going. The “winding” part of the lonnnnnggg and winding road I referred to in the earlier comment I made. When I’m bored, I read their back-and-forth. They get a bit intense. Otherwise I “steer around the potholes”. More than a few dead horses (no pun intended) in their back-and-forth.
