Looking for feed back on the Soler engineering throttle controller & 85mm throttle body for my 21 A10. Was looking to see how many run this combo & how the drivability is & gains are. I'm looking to get the most out of the car while staying reliable for daily driving. Is it worth getting it if I'm about to get tuned, or will the tune alone make the car snappier? Was looking into getting the GT350 IM but from what I've been reading, it's not worth the $ from the gen 3 IM. If the throttle body is not worth the purchase I would opt for just getting the throttle controller if it helps as much as some claim, add defoulers to the sensors & keep stock tune. Trying to get the most out of bolt ons without cracking the engine open for cams or adding an expensive upgrade like the CJ manifold. Any feed back is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Cams and CJ are a waste on a daily.
The 80mm Soler or Bret Barber AFS TB work well. There’s several reviews on the Soler controller all are positive.

I would argue that the 15hp or so over the 18 manifold that the gt350 provides is worth it. More than you'll get out of any TB swap

Yeah I wouldn't consider either CJ or cams, just put that there thinking that's what most would suggest.

If you’re trying to get the most out of it without going into the motor, then I’d suggest you start self-tuning using something like hptuners. It is super easy to change throttle response if that’s where you want to start.

15 hp? Any loss of torque? Also if I was to go that route, would my stock throttle & intake box still work?

I'm not too computer savvy & was planning on getting it tuned by juggernaut for e85. I'd probably mess something up if I tried it. I am trying to get the most out of an n/a set up with a long term plan on boosting way down the road. The car is not a daily driver, but want to keep that same status of reliability.

You won’t get the GT350 IMRC to function, it’s not Plug N Play as it is on the 15-17 GT 5.0
Don’t think of the modded TB as HP, think of it as throttle response and how quickly the motor reaches its redline limiter.

This is stolen from TrickyPerformance. 10 numbers without any tuning adjustments and nearly identical curve until 5800. Gen3 car. I’ve ran them both personally and can tell you 350 is faster. There’s a reason Ford offers it as an upgrade and the Mach1/Bullit was an up-trim. Stock TB needs either the Holley or VMP adapter

I can’t say anything bad about juggernaut but my faith in aftermarket tunes has gone to basically zero.

So I would have to lock them out?

That looks promising.
