Soler 85mm throttle body

Has anyone had any luck running the Soler throttle body’s while also running a tune I’ve gone through all the threads mentioning this throttle body couldn’t find any info. Also any feed back from those that have installed would be appreciated thanks.

Yeah she is a rowdy beast no doubt! Good choice in F/I kits also!!

I have a Soler ported factory Bullitt tb that was ported from 87MM to 91MM. I also have 93, Flex, E85R and Nitrous tunes, but had those prior to having the tb ported. I initially had an issue with the tb sticking shut and open. I sent it back to Soler and they made a correction and sent it back. It’s worked fine fine ever since. I paired it with their Throttle Controller.

Thanks! It’s been a while since I’ve looked on Soler’s website, but I do know they can and will port your factory tb for you for around $275.

Right on! I love the nitrous! It gives me a really good boost in power (170 extra to the rear tire) off of a 150 shot.

Take a look at their throttle controller too. It really does control how responsive the throttle is. It ranges from mild to wild and you can select your settings from the small LCD screen, or do it via Bluetooth.

I wish more of us were running throttle bodies. I come from the LS world and everyone runs Soler or Mamo ported TBs. Seems less common here. My brother had a tune from Tuning by James on his Bullitt, and I asked James about a Soler for my M1 and he was pretty steadfast against it.

I wouldnt do it until i was ready to tune, i was thinking it would be easy to tune for it. Maybe not.

I didn’t retune for my ported tb, but it’s possible tuning could have provided some added benefit.

Seems like the whole maf table ought to be able to be scaled 105% or whatever if the fuel trims are a bit off and go from there.

I will probably get one this winter when i do headers and a tune.
