I got the premier trim in mine and am thrilled with it. For me it's worth the small amount of extra cash just to get the soft touch upper door panels. I absolutely despise hard plastic door panels. That was actually my biggest gripe on my 2013. What I like is that they aren't as super soft as ones like you get in a BMW. The ones in my friend's M3 are already damaged. They're just too soft to hold up well.

As far as the seats go I guess I'll just have to wait and see as far as wear and tear in relation to the regular leather. But for now my rear end tells me I made the right choice.

I get the concern with the dog though. Maybe throwing a heavy blanket in the back seat would do the trick as far as the seats go.

If you're going to get a black interior anyway, I don't understand why you wouldn't pay the few extra bucks for the premier trim. With that said, I went with saddle, and I love it.

Nobody can answer that because they aren't you. Go to the dealer and feel and sit in (if possible) a premier trim and a base trim. Then ask yourself if the higher payments or purchase price are worth it to you.

The answer for me was yes. My passengers and I sit in the car when I'm driving and the little details definitely make a difference for me. They wouldn't for everyone, though. So, there is no right answer - only what makes sense to you.

(The advice to compare in person, if you can, is the best advice).

I wanted cloth because I prefer it. Would have been nice to have some of the other premium options though.

I think it is - it's the one option I had on the car I ordered and gave up by picking one up off the lot. After seeing/feeling it in person this weekend I'll be looking for the door panels in the aftermarket. If you drive with your arm on the window sill at all, you will really like it.

Because white contrast stitching.

I was in the same boat until I looked at a few non-premier interiors. They had the same ugly white stitching as the premier interiors. I think the only place white stitching is added is the edge of the dash.

Hopefully a black Sharpie will do the trick.

I test drove a premium EB with the 50 Yr appearance pack and the interior was beautiful

Well, from my point of view, the soft touch premium feel materials have one big advantage that they absorb road impacts well and they create less rattling noises. All the cars i owned the ones with the soft touch materials had min or no rattles. This includes the stereo bass kick effect on the interior parts as well. They make the interior a little more quieter and rattle free. I hope this helps. Cheers.

I picked up my car today and am extremely glad I got the premier trim. It looks and feels great! Overall, I can't believe how "upscale" the interior is compared to my '13.

I went with the premier trim as well. Really wanted to have it in Red Line for the red stitching on the Recaros but the red on the doors just looked too tacky.
