Looks good Aaron.

Can I borrow those rear shocks for a few days? ;)

Finally got my spring perches machined for them and got my springs! Should be going back together as full coil over rear!

I have a set of those. One track day so far. Takes a lot of heat to bed them but they do a great job of stopping the car. Can't really say if they were lots better than the stock pads as they never failed me.

I agree! The stock pads are the best pads I have ever had from the factory. I went out and bed the carbotechs, and the bite is amazing, but only testing will tell if they can one up the mighty stock pads! [emoji3]

Got some track testing at Motorsport Ranch Cressen with the SCCA Track Night in America. I have made quite a few changes to the rear end of the car, all of which greatly improved the car on the track. Big thanks to Kelly at BMR, the rear end feels much more planted and predictable at the limit, which the combination of the Delrin subframe mounts and the Aluminum diff bushings. First test of MCS rears as true coilovers was also successful running 700# springs for a 550# wheel rate really helped balance the car. Another change that was made for benefit on the track was the swap to 3.55 Ford Racing gears. With our shorter tire I was running out of RPM using the factory PP 3.73s. The 3.55s kept me right where I wanted to be and still allowed for plenty of grunt getting out of the slower corners. Lastly, the Carbotech XP12 front brake pads did their job very well. It is hard to say how much better they are then the stock PP pads (because they are surprisingly good) but braking was never a problem and they never overheated, even with ambient temps around 100!

How did that affect the brake balance with an XP12 up front? :ford:

Brake balance is fine, these are cars are not very rear brake heavy, and the XP-12s initial bite is not that much greater then my stock PP pads were.
