Congrats on your win at COTA! My car is a daily driver so the noise would be an issue. Thanks! My experience, to this point, is that the BMR Delrin cradle bushings and the Aluminum diff bushings lend enough control of the rear subframe/suspension that I do not feel a need to add the weight of the braces. Keep in mind that this combination is very noisy but it works great! These chassis are very stiff compared to earlier Mustangs.
Our splitter just goes a bit passed the mounting bolts, this provides a smooth transition to the factory PP belly tray and keeps the factory cooling channels intact.Great thread. I finally read the whole thing today, after Liking your page on Facebook.
I wish I could see more of the Dusold splitter. I'm torn between buying this one or another brand, and I'm curious to see how much of the belly is covered by the aluminum splitter. I have a base model so I have to buy the PP front lip and if it's necessary, the belly pan.
Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation. It's a great looking piece! Our splitter just goes a bit passed the mounting bolts, this provides a smooth transition to the factory PP belly tray and keeps the factory cooling channels intact.
I've noticed popping noises and clunking when shifting gears after installing the BMR parts. Do you notice this? The clunking doesn't worry me as many people say they hear this even stock, but the popping around tight corners or in parking lots lends a bit of annoyance. Just wondering you'd the same.My experience, to this point, is that the BMR Delrin cradle bushings and the Aluminum diff bushings lend enough control of the rear subframe/suspension that I do not feel a need to add the weight of the braces. What parts do you have?I've noticed popping noises and clunking when shifting gears after installing the BMR parts. Do you notice this? Do you have a PP car? The clicking going around corners is not normal if it has a Torsen. The BMR Delrin subframe bushings and aluminum diff bushings, specifically created the noise. I have other parts as well that didn't create the noise. BMR toe links, frpp toe link bearings, among others.
Do you sell the pads? I need to buy a set of those or the Carbotech. Actually looking for a 90% street pad, with auto crosses thrown in. (and I have eradispeed+ rotors)I forgot to put on the thread that we switched to G-Loc R12 pads last month, and the results have been great! I love the initial bite and power of the R12 compound for all around use, if you do not want to change compounds between AutoX and Track events. At PPIR I ran 25 Speed Stop runs without experiencing any fade. At COTA this past weekend I was able to top the Speed Stop GT Class by 3 tenths, in the biggest field of the year. On COTA itself, the 3.4 mile track, is very tough on brakes with 2 straights that see north of 135mph at the braking zone, and the combination of Baer Eradispeed rotors and G-Loc pads never showed any signs of letting up!
