Actually I have the right to say whatever I want.
So does everyone here. Including me. If you don't like that people write what they think, than don't post in a forum.

It is just you seem to have a habit of attacking/criticizing people's choices and then often providing 'facts' to justify your criticism that are, at worst completely incorrect and at best potentially uninformed.

Even the times where you may have a reasonable point, the way you present it is so abrasive that you just come off as ornery. It is like you have a bone to pick with life.

This is my first Mustang... first Ford actually. A lot of tuners have specialties and a few of the Cobb places I tried don't do Ford's (a lot of Audi, VW, Subaru and Mitsu).
Does anyone have any places in the GTA that they recommend. I live in Milton but work in Markham those that covers the top/west part of GTA.

If anyone has any recommendations anywhere else in Canada feel free to post them here as it'll only help the group.

I'm not looking to do a ton of work but will most likely get
tune - Cobb or Bama
CAI - JLT or AirRaid
Lowering springs
Strut and K Brace
Rims/tires - Tires23 (Mississauga)and J&D Tires (Milton) and Great

Thinking about 3.55 gears
WMS Racing and the Mustang Shop, both out of Calgary, seem to be reasonable price wise.

Though I know some of their product pricing is being affected by the exchange rate. For example, WMS had the procharger ho kit (including tune and injectors) for $5900cdn. Was a great deal. They just recently upped the price to $6900 due to exchange - though is still cheaper than buying form the State (after exchange).

You can get the sct x4 for $440cdn from wms, you won't be able to get it cheaper out of the States these days.

those are good options. I've been emailing for info with Steeda.ca because their shop is walking distance from my house. I'll let people know what my experience is like.
So far they aren't very responsive. I've been waiting a couple days just for a labour quote to install Steeda springs

WMS has been very responsive to my emails. Mustang shop not so much. Got an initial replay about a day later, but no replies to my follow-up questions.

DaSilva Racing is another shop with an inhouse dyno. The owner, Joe DaSilva has been in the Mustang game since the early 80's. His personal '15 is the ginnie pig, it's been dynoed with 389 at the wheels, and with just a custom tune, it's at 403 at the wheels.

You guys kill me.

Go into steeda or dasliva and make a deal with them ie negociate.

Just because there web site says one thing, doesn't mean that's the end of it.
I have modded 8 mustangs with steeda and just like when buying a new car it's unlikely that you would just go in slap down what ever the window sticker says.
That's my view
Believe me I've done lots to these cars and never have I paid full pop for anything

Your first mistake is trying to buy this stuff online, not much of a chance do you have with buying parts that way.

Second if you have to get parts from the states rent a po box across the boarder and go get it if your close enough to the border.

Go and see Joe at DaSilva Racing in Pickering, Joe and his team are great people and have been working on Mustangs for over 20 years.

Has anyone gotten their S550 lowered with DaSilva? If so, how much?

I have an Eibach Pro set installed by DaSilva and am very happy with the look and performance. I believe I paid approx $800 after install. Give them a call, they will quote you over the phone. Or even better, email them!

I was quoted this in February by DaSilva. I haven't done it yet. Been doing other upgrades first and weighing if I want to do it to my daily driver.

Eibach springs - $395
Installation - $300

I'm guessing the install quote didn't include the alignment? Regardless 300 for the install isn't bad.
