I have no issues talking myself into car purchases LOL. Convincing my wife is a totally different ballgame…
Lol, I hear ya, I really want a lift, flat floor, and a place where my kids don't frequent. At 2 and 4, I'm constantly holding my breath when we're outside.

Expanding the shed is critical. Then I'll have more space for frivolous car/truck purchases.

I’d love a lift as well. My kids are 11 and 14 and I still hold my breath when they’re playing outside if the garage door is open. Baseballs, basketballs, volleyballs and Mustangs don’t mix…

I agree. These "specialty" vehicles are getting ridiculous. Sold to people with more money than brains. Here's on in my area. Another listing for the same vehicle indicates it isn't even FI yet but will be before the sale. If someone buys this, or the Shelby F-150, they are a complete idiot and should put the money towards a 911.

Build it as large as your local jurisdiction will allow, assuming there are any restrictions. I built my shop just shy of 20 years ago and thought I'd never run out of room (maximum square footage allowed at the time on an unattached permanent structure). I have run out of room.

And go with 12'+ cielings. I never foresaw the proliferation of cheap 4-post lifts and only went 9'. Damn my shortsightedness.

We have a covered parking, 18' ceiling, but it's *only* 40' long. On one side we have our travel trailer (37'), and on the other my car hauler and my truck. Here in SE Texas, we can't leave stuff uncovered in the summer unless you want it completely destroyed by the sun. Otherwise the RV and car hauler would be out, a lift and squat rack (and likely an FP700) would be in it.

I want to add 20' more and enclose it. A shed is like a camper. Whatever size you need, add 15%. And it's still not enough. :cwl:

If you’re my age, you remember when “tuner cars” had upgraded engine internals. It might be worth the money if it did, but the drivetrain just gets a standard Whipple kit and exhaust. At least the Roush stuff has a Ford calibration and is legally a car company.

With Ford Performance pushing the Whipple on all the things(with a warranty no less), I don't see a market for these uplifted Tuscany trucks. It is like tossing 50k in the trashcan. I like what FP is doing and hope they maintain the options. I own and have owned SA vehicles and can firsthand say that you lose your posterior on resale.
