I ended up buying the optional polarizing lens for the FitcamX, the windshield glare was pretty bad without it.

Also, popping out the micro SD card and using the card reader that comes with the camera is SO much easier than downloading to your phone. However, removing and reinstalling the card is very difficult, I had to use a small flat-blade screwdriver because there's not enough room to use your finger.

Took it for inspection today, here's a shot in the service drop-off area in full sun:

Pretty good, really happy with the video quality.

Watched all the videos of dealer people in the car, pretty hilarious, they clearly had NO idea they were being recorded. I definitely recommend choosing the 3 minute long videos with sound rather than 1 minute or muted.

Yeah. I forget I even have the dashcam but looked at the recordings after I got the car back from the dealer to check something just before the 3 year mark.

It didn't occur to me to mention my MGW shifter. Their so-called top tech went to do a 3 point turn in a narrow service lane between bays and couldn't figure out how to get in reverse. Eventually a bunch of techs gathered around to razz him while others trying to get cars in or out but blocked honked horns.

But it was nice to see they didn't hot rod around when test driving although they did come close to curbing it once while ogling Cardinal cheerleaders filming a commercial at another nearby dealer.

Made a new friend cruising on a beautiful fall day and got to try out the new dash cam. Really happy with the way this camera turned out, great quality, at least I think so. The polarizing filter is a must. Anyway, this guy in the King Ranch is the exact opposite of the turd that prompted my thread on pickup truck road rage a couple months ago. Caught up to him at the first light, and he was just puttering with his arm hanging out the window at first till he saw me, then pushed it up the hill. We were doing about 55-60 in a 35 at the top, he was moving pretty good until the first turn down the hill lol. Can’t see it in the video but when we get to the 2nd light and stop and I say cool dude it was because he was giving a thumbs up and OK sign in his side view mirror. Easy to zoom in at the light and read his license plate, so mission accomplished with the dash cam. If nothing else, the video is a great demonstration of fall in Western PA. Have a great weekend guys!

This guy's other car is a Pickup.

From one of the (lost count) cameras in my Tesla. It's the rear facing camera on driver's front fender. That's my rear-view mirror in the upper left of frame.

Jeep making a left turn from a parking lot on course to ram me.
