Broken Rear Truck Stud

So while I was removing the rear trunk lid, I managed to break one of the studs that connects it to the hinge. Ive included a picture down below, wondering if this is fixable or not. Any help would be appreciated

No problem - hopefully you're thread and the other will help others in the future too.

I don't know why those studs are snapping like that - unless it's just a matter of fact that the stud is just too small of a diameter to be used for those areas of application. Or the studs are just junk metal....

Yeah. Seems very common with the hood, ive seen reviews describing the same problem too. For my rear studs, I may just leave it alone since the trunk is still using 3/4 of the studs if they cannot fix it, or would this cause issues?
