Seat Belt Warning Doesn't Work

Have you guys tried to un buckle the seat belt right before rolling the car? I waited for the light to come on and start beeping but nothing happened. This might be a huge safety and recall issue for the near future. Cheers.

What do you mean by "right before rolling the car"? If you mean driving, the warning might take a few moments before it comes on. My 2011 won't start beeping for about 15-20 seconds of driving without seatbelts on.

Yep. It waits awhile before it chimes.

there's usually a way to turn it one or off described in the owners manual, involves cycling the ignition, clicking the belt in and out and watching the light.

I always wear my seatbelt but still like to disable chime. Do this same process to turn back on.

Good to know so if you install multi-point harnesses in the car you don't have to listen to it!

There is a plug underneath your seat for the seat belt warning. If its unplugged the warning won't go off. Check and make sure that its plugged in.
