SCT BDX Programmer Question E85 Tune

Can I copy the tunes from my BDX programmer and transfer them to my PC? I purchased the car used and have all the tunes on the programmer but would like to have a copy on my PC for a backup. Is there a way to do it or do I need to contact vendor (Unleashed) or the previous owner? Thanks!

Is the programmer already VIN unlocked?

Download the SCT device updater software and install it on your PC and I think you can use it to browse the tune files that are on the device.

The updater software will allow you to save them on your PC. It will not let you view the tune. Live link will allow you to data log.

Can you tell me the steps on how to do this I only see an option to put the stock tune back on my PC I also called SCT and they said the only way is to get them from the vendor.

Plug the device to your computer open updater and click load custom tune file.

It will show the tunes on the device if any. The canned SCT tunes will not show up.
