Thought it kinda be a neat idea to track each others builds to get idea of our own builds and estimates. Add your car and dates to the list. I can't wait and this helps me some as i can get a better idea of when everyone else ordered and how long it took through the proces

Most likely we're in the clear. Looks like a) Ford isn't being targeted for a strike, at least not initially and b) even if Ford was the target, from a article I read a few days ago, the plants that would get hit with a strike are a few of the F-150 plants because it's the backbone of the company. I think/hope Flat Rock is in the clear.

My main concern is that because the contracts end on Monday, who knows what the quality of work will be on the builds scheduled for Tuesday 9/15. I'm definitely going to have to look over the car extra carefully before signing paperwork.

Just curious, 113. Why would this be a concern? See, my car is scheduled for that day as well and I need something else to worry about.

Sorry, I haven't read up on all of this strike stuff. But if the contract is up Monday - and they are working on Tuesday - doesn't that mean they reached an agreement?

No, like in previous negotiations, they can extend the previous agreement until a new one has been negotiated. See Waldorf's post above where he quoted this.

Finally got my VIN (thank you Deysha!!) but still no build date :(

Woohoo thank you Deysha for the PM. Blend date of 9/15 and ETA of 10/05. Was really hoping for it to arrive before October because the Competitive Lease Conquest rebate expires on 9/30 but w/e I'm not happy I have less than a month to go!

:clap2: Thank you Deysha for the update. At least it's no longer just waiting around. Is there any updated delivery date? I am sure the 19th is no longer realistic.

Order placed on 2016 shelby Gt350 on 9/4/15 are there vins on these cars yet ? Ford tracking has been down ever since. I did pm ford customer service a few times nothing back yet.

If you're getting impatient, just call the # on the bottom of FordService's (user here on this forum) signature. Ignore the prompts and get a rep on the line, they should be able to help.

Just got a PM from Deysha today with the link to my window sticker should be live by Wednesday and an ETA to my dealer of 10/17 (Galpin Ford - Los Angeles) Let's just hope everything goes smoothly with a strike settlement before than so a bunch of happy Ford workers will be doing the build :ford: :cheers:

Tomorrow makes a week mine's been sitting in Area 51 "Awaiting Shipment". Wheels will be here tomorrow, but certainly not the car!

A day will soon seem like a week, and a week will seem like a month!

My dealer just called to tell me that I have a build week of 9/28. Hoping he's right, but have my doubts. Will try and confirm with Deysha at the end of the week.
