While running todays AZ VINs I noticed a few sequence numbers where I could not find a valid V6, EB, or GT coupe VIN number.
Sequence numbers:
The '14 GT500 uses P8R as the vehicle code and Z as the engine code. Does anyone know or have a good guess to the GT350 (or whatever it will be named) code or the 5.2L engine code? Is it possible Ford has secretly started production of the GT350 or some other limited edition variant that the dealers already know about and have ordered? Anyone want to help solve this mystery?
Sequence numbers:
- *5326482 (between Earnhardt Ford and Bell Ford numbers)
- *5326485 (between Bell Ford and AutoNation Ford Scottsdale numbers)
- *5326496 (between Peoria Ford GT and EB numbers)
- *5326511 and *5326512 (between San Tan Ford GT and EB numbers)
- Always adjacent or within the sequence numbers of one of the large Phoenix dealers
- Always just before an EB number or after a GT number
- Recent constraint lists have referenced a 5.2L V8
- Recent constraint lists have referenced a 2 door coupe - 4 lite
