With this kit you are only signaling off the fpdm. It does not come into play. In my experience 700-750 was ok. When I turned it up it came up just short. IMO you better have a BAP close by to reach the kill mode goals you have.

It will make 900+ on turbo cars. It depends how much HP the blower is eating up for the limits of the kit on supercharged applications.
I actually just sold my VMP and JMS units. Looks like I will be hitting my buddies up at VMP again for another BAP.

Sucks that we lose so much power to spin the blower. It is really tempting to go to the dark side but my savings says :paddle:

I'm currently fighting myself on this. If I had just gone turbo I wouldn't have to worry about upgrading the headunit when I get a built engine put in it in the next year or so.

Currently debating if I should just push the stock block in MS109 as hard as it'll go.:headbonk:

Looks like I might be re thinking the fuel system you just bought if you are having to upgrade injectors to get it to run perfect. Might just go with the complete Fore setup

I never realized you had that many upgrades.

The good thing for everyone is I will find the wall for us on this setup...

Looks like she will be going in Saturday if all goes well

I think that the only limitation that you will have is the injectors that you have. 1300s would give you a higher ceiling.

Yeah I have a feeling that's going to happen. If it does I will probably sell the blower and go turbo.

Lol, if I could do it all over again I would have gone with twins. But, I'm interested in seeing your results. I almost bought Sai's kit. I decided to just get a 100oct tune for now.

From experience with a Whipple I can tell you 725-750 is very close on E85 and Id1000 Injectors. You can make more with a BAP but then we have that argument again. If I could start over I would buy the twin 465 pumps and fuel hat and use the stock return line with a -8 feed line. This can be done for around $1100 and then truly capable of 1000hp on blower cars.

My plan was to see the ceiling with the kit. Sai was very adamant about it being capable but you aren't the first to say otherwise.

My plan:

See how much the kit can support.

See what the car will do with an extra BAP wired in and then purchase the 465 pumps like you did to compensate.

You re-used the hat right?

My calculations show that I was making approximately 820-830 whp when I went 147-148

In that configuration, I had ID1000 and no BAP

My calculations now show that I am making over 900rwhp, likely closer to 930 when going 150+mph.

In this configuration, I have ID1300 and a VMP BAP set to approx 17V.

Stock GT500 Pumps.

I hope to dyno the car soon before changing the fuel system around. If I do, I will post updates in here.

I bought a fore hat. You cant get the stock hats apart very easy to take out the pumps. I am sure it has been done but I would guess most hats get destroyed.

So many variables between blowers, weight, auto, and altitude as to what the pumps can make under load. But as Kelly pointed out he was at 820 ish so I would agree they wont make 1000 on a blower car.

I think maybe Reds197 that your high altitude could have had an effect on the output?

Kelly's numbers is beyond where I want to take the car until MPR does some magic or Excessive does. Plan on forged rods and pistons to help the 148-150 be not so bored-line boom on the stock motor.
