S550 values to increase?

The KBB and actual dealer trade in value for my car is down $4k, over 10%, since i purchased in September.

I had a 67 fast back in 1972 I loved the car and would buy another if I could find one for a reasonable price. I have a 2011 V6 and 2015 5.0 GT performance package premium and they are both great cars. I just bought the 2015 in april with 31K miles and only paid $22,333.00 I thought that was a great price. I bought the 2011 the year before with 111K miles and paid $10,500.00 again I thought it was a great price. They are both fun to drive The GT is a manual 6 speed and the 3.7 is a six speed auto. If I find others with good prices I will probabley buy them too. Oh, both cars are black. Will they go up in price? At this point I don't know and I don't care. I enjoy them and thats what counts. Next one that I am looking for is a 2018 GT.

My point is bye them used at great deals and let some else take the beating on the depreciation, and enjoy the hell out of them. If they have low miles you will still have a great car. I paid cash for all of them so, no interest to pay. Saves a boat load of money.

Definitely not a great job selling the car by the seller, but that's still pretty low. Anyone considering a well equipped new s650 GT coupe or even a Dark Horse might want to consider a GT350 instead, because they're firmly in the same price range now

A friend who likes my S550 went to a dealer to look at a new Mustang, he was shown and S650 and said to the salesman he wanted one with the indash style not the I pad stuck on version. The salesman apologized and said they no longer do those and said they have had a lot of people say that. They showed him an S550 that had done less than 1000 miles and was £20k cheaper than the one in the showroom. He is seriously considering it.

Ford Dealer down the street is selling a bone stock 2022 GT with 22k miles, base model auto in grabberblue for $37,500

I was curious because in 2023 I purchased mine for the same dealer (also a grabber blue 2022 GT auto base) for 38,500 with only 1k miles on it

How is $50,500 disappointing for a nine year old car that retailed for $58,000. This is a tech pack car which I would argue is less desirable than the track pack. This car brought all the money. Your expectations are too high.

I'm not familiar with the GT350 trims and packages, but there have been a half dozen up for auction on various sites in the past few weeks and all sold for considerably less than I've seen other GT350s sell just a few months ago. Are they apples to apples cars? I dunno. Seems like a trend to me tho. Or maybe they're just following the enthusiast and/or toy car market in general, which is trending down.

S550s are down across the board. GT350s have been selling for above original MSRP for most of the last 9 months I've paid attention to them, and i used them as a bell weather.

However, looking out 10 years, i do think the S550 will be the more desirable modern Mustang.
