I think $62k for an extremely low mileage R is fair, but not a lot. And a new one is a bit more as they are not haggling on the R nearly as much as the non-R. A friend of mine just ordered a 2020 and he said the spread to jump up to the R was, hmm, I think it was $20k. I think he said about $90k was the price for the R.

I got a quote on a 2021 Ford Mustang GT500 (with the tech package) for $77,000 plus tag, title and Tax (3xT). I never finance.

It will probably get in late next year (my current one took 6 months). I'd never sell my GT350.

Two weeks ago my son just traded in his 2016 Track Pack GT350 for a F-150 Platinum. He bought the car second hand in late 2018 for $43,500 with 3,xxx miles. It had just over 7,000 miles at trade in. They gave him $46,500 for the car and came off $14,000 off the F-150. So on paper he drove the car for 2 years putting 3,500ish miles on it and sold it for $3,500 more than what he paid.

..You my friend, are wise in the ways of common sense...!!!!
Dave,
You are much smarter than me.

How many miles have you driven yours now? I am still at ~5000+ miles. I have one oil change and not one car issue. It charges forward today better then in it's younger years. The FPC crank engine needs some use before it hits the maximum performance numbers.

We did good in the Six Gaps.

I am very happy I decided to pull the trigger on a new one. We looked at used and it just was not worth it. We have had a lot of cars and this is my dream car. We could get the GT500 and even if it cost less, I would get the 350. I've been a lover of cars for a long time and all fanboy stuff aside...... this is a special automobile.

I hope they are right but I thought it was funny that the second guy seemed to think everyone should have heard of him and his automotive credentials consists of 3 years as a car salesman. A car salesman says the cars are going to go up in value - lol what else is new?!?

I thought the CarGurus tool seemed interesting so I went to try to use it. Worthless for Rs. All of the "comparable" cars that the site uses to gauge value are shown as Rs but they are not.
