This thread went as expected. OP, test them both out and see how you like each of them. Both are great engines. though on this forum, the Eco has 1000HP with a tune with the sole purpose of being faster than a stock GT, and the V6 has a procharger which will be faster than a stock GT or a 1000HP ecobeast.

Let me get my popcorn with extra butter and salt!

Ha! People act like a stock gt has 1000 hp and nothing can hang without a ton of mods.
Cute story though

This was a dumb/lazy thread to begin with. It's been discussed a million times and the information is all either there under the different engine forums or on youtube. It's always funny to see GT buyers comment on threads that don't concern them though, everyone wants to be cool on the internet :)

I actually bought the GT to compensate for my small.....hands.

I had a 3.7 for a while and test drove an Eco, I am very interested in how the aftermarket comes along for them, and how people build them, which is why I follow all three engines.

Yeah... Sure it was. I don't have weeks on end to research this crap, I am buying a car Monday.

You don't want to help, that's fine. I will live.

I have, but like you just stated yourself, there's nothing on the s550 3.7.

Oh well.

Looks that way. Another complication: Went to the dealer today - no test drives on Mustangs according to them.

Need a different dealer. LOL

Do you have a significant other that might drive the car? You could see what she thinks. I'm thinking when my wife drives the non-premium 4 and 6 (with 3.55), she'll chose the 6 simply because of the sound and tip in throttle response. It's a "classic" Mustang experience. Any more options and the 4 is all you have.

Tip: use truecar to get a baseline price on your configuration, if you enter your email address you'll have a truecar representative at the dealership contact you. Once they do, schedule the test drive. Generally the truecar reps are so much easier to deal with than salesmen, as a bonus you'll already have an awesome quote that doesn't require any haggling.

I can end this thread now. If you drive a Eco boost or v6 your not a real mustang owner. Your a little girl or a homo. Oh snap I said it
