Hey, everyone! I'm new to the forums and this is officially my first post. I actually just recently picked up a 2015 Mustang GT Premium PP1 [6MT].

A small thing (among other quirks) that bothered me about the car is there is literally no good spot to put change - and the center console isn't great. I didn't see any immediate solutions online, so I designed a change holder that slots right into the sunglasses tray. It holds a decent amount of coins and is slim enough that you can still place other items in the tray (I throw my EZPass in there).

It works well, so I figured I'd share and see if there was any interest in a solution to a potential non-problem 😅.

Cheers 🍻

Cool solution to a problem I don't have. I never carry cash or change. But I like the design. It may be a handy solution for others.

Oh, here in Texas, you can no longer use coins or cash on toll roads.

I would think that's illegal. Especially from a state agency.

You have to use a toll pass on your windshield or you get a bill in the mail.

In Florida you need change for the millions of toll roads
Buy a Sunpass, you get a discount on every toll vs. being mailed a bill. Also, if you buy the sticker one, they use to credit you back in toll funds the cost when you load money on it the first time. It use to pay for itself, not sure if that is still happening, regardless the sticker pass is less than $10 and it's good in several states, I know for sure it works for GA tolls.

Reading this thread reminds me that I haven't used a coin in years. I mean, literally. I very rarely use cash, and when I do and get change it goes somewhere that I can't even remember at the moment. Probably, I have a fair amount of money stashed away somewhere.

But I can't remember the last time I actually used a coin to pay for something. Not even to feed parking meters, since every one I've used in years has accepted credit cards.

It's bizarre when I think about it. Such a huge transition and I didn't even notice until right now.

Yeah other than occasionally playing pool, I can hardly think of a time I use coins nowadays. But I still like to hold cash on me so I’ll get it back every now and then.

So my choices were either throw it in my cup holder or throw it away (or maybe at someone lol)
