What are your street and track rear camber angles?I just went through something similar because I decided to upgrading all my bushings to bearings (front and rear).
In the end I went with the full package from AAD. I was very intrigued by their 'tab' adjustment system and the ability to change camber/toe in less than a minute with exact results each time. I aligned it for street, and then again for track. I keep the set of tabs I'm not using in the glovebox so they can be swapped in at any time. It takes more time to jack up the rear and remove the tire then it does to change the camber/toe tabs! I love that there are no compromises between street/track - just a few minutes and it is perfectly setup for either.
And I have never purchased a nicer set of parts for my Mustang. The fit and finish is amazing, even the packaging is incredible! I forget who, but someone here has been tracking them for over a year without issue.
I'm using BMR's recommended camber (F/R) Track: -2.75/-2.0, Street: -1.50, -1.25What are your street and track rear camber angles?
Do you have means to measure camber and toe yourself?
I don't have my notes with me, but I think the toe change were fairly significant between those two cambers. I want to say it was about 0.15 degrees per side? So it could go from a good toe in to zero toe in, or from good toe in to too much toe in just by changing between the cambers.I agree with those two sets of camber numbers.
Have you seen how much your toe changes with camber change?
Back when I was first researching doing my own alignment, I read through hundreds of posts. I'm guessing yours was one of them, but I don't recall. Sorry!Did you find my multi post writeup for DIY alignment?
I went from J&M to Cortex. The Cortex units are superior!Cortex is an OEM supplier to Ford Performance, J&M is also a great value. We ship an equal amount of both.
Yes because Cortex uses FEA when they design the parts, and the others leave all that extra mass because its cheaper to produce.Doesn't look like the same starting point to me, as far as the aluminum body.
