Do you have a need to make your new arms double adjustable and/or do you need it to slip out of alignment? There's not much need for the factory adjustment slot once the arm is adjustable so the lockout is all advantage and no disadvantage when the arms are in use.

Yes, that makes sense. No need to retain the factory adjustment; the added link barrel adjuster is way more secure. Thanks!
