Yeah, it's just annoying. Charleston doesn't have a shop that specializes in Mustangs, so being a platform that has more in common with modern BMWs than with previous gen Mustangs, I figured a Euro shop would be safe. They swore they'd have no issues with it.

I'm willing to spend the money to put adjustable camber arms on it, but I think they're just way overkill on stock ride height.

Agreed, The Steeda 555 4123 Mustang Rear Adjustable Camber Arms would be too much for your current application.

Since your already going thru the trouble, yes, grab a set of Steeda 555 4124 Mustang Front Adjustable Camber Bolts (15-26) to address the Front camber.

Since the shops around you can't seem to handle the Factory Camber Adjustment... wild... you can get the Steeda 555 4126 Mustang Rear Camber Adjustment Kit (15-26) to make it easier.

Did that place say anything about the TOE though?

Would it make sense to have a place like Charleston Supercar give it a shot before installing the bolts and camber kit, or should I just throw parts at it, and THEN have them align? I'm willing to do either, just want this handled so I can drive the dang car.

I didn't even give them the option to address the toe. I'm going to hold off on driving it until I get the alignment redone, so I didn't want to waste my time or theirs.

You don't need the rears, since you have the adjustment from factory. It just makes it easier to adjust. The Front you will need if you are trying to make a change, since there isn't typically any adjustment from Factory.
I'm personally not familiar with Charleston Supercar, so talk to them before taking your car over and tell them what has happened so far. That should help them better understand the spot your in.

Ok, Charleston Supercar just took a whack at it. This is what they were able to come up with. The owner didn't love that he didn't have a way to adjust front caster to better compensate for road crown. The car drove much better than before.

We happy?

2nd one good. First one, I wouldn't have paid them. That is just pure laziness. Like how did the front camber change with zero adjustability up front?

Second question. What did the shop show for original settings before adjustments?

I have zero idea on the front. I didn't have the camber bolts installed at that point. The second shop kinda confirmed laziness, and said that the rear camber adjustment bolts weren't even tight. I suppose they could have backed off, but doubtful as the car only had about 100 miles on it with the first alignment.

They didn't give me specs for the before today. He did take about two hours to complete the alignment, and said he had a hard time getting things aligned. They're not a Mustang shop, so perhaps there was some unfamiliarity there, but things feel much better.

@jacknifetoaswan I am tardy to this thread, but if you like to research, then check out my thread
Review of Rear Camber Adjustment Kit (Steeda or J&M camber arm brackets)

You will find that it is easier (more controllable anyway) with the camber cam brackets, but it is a hassle for you or a shop regardless.

However, being able to fine-tune rear camber with a cam (or turnbuckle), plus fine-tune rear toe with a turnbuckle is really the way to go. Especially because they are interactive with each other.
