So I have 18’ GT on e85 and I’m trying find out how often should I cycle 93 pump gas. It’s not my daily so it doesn’t run out fast at all. I don’t let it sit, I try to drive at least once or twice every two weeks even if it’s just to the store. I would prefer to run it all the time especially when my supercharger is installed but I was told it’ll clog up the injectors (not sure if that’s true)

You’ll be just fine with the right injectors. Many many people run e85 full time, myself included, and everything is just fine. I run dw 95# injectors and they work great. ID 1050x would be excellent also. Car makes over 900whp so I need e85 full time. Make sure you have a return style fuel system when that supercharger come in that can support all the fuel you need when you throw some extra boost at it.

What DR said. But if you are overly cautious, every couple of months is more than enough. On a side note, if be more concerned with e85 sitting in my tank for long periods. It degrades pretty quickly (6 to 8 weeks) .

E85 all the time. Not a daily, but gets run at least 1x per week. Pump sucks after running corn for 9k miles. Lol.

Almost two years on E without cycling shhh.....
Same here. I occasionally dump in a bottle of polyetheramine detergent when filling up. Only reason I do it, is due to ethanol corrosion inhibitors tendency to cause a certain type of deposit.

depending on miles, we usually recommend a tank every 6 weeks or so on a true dd to help clean the system up.

we normally run the lucas conditioner on a regular basis as well

So when you run a tank of pump gas are you guys just super careful to stay out of boost? I'm planning on running e85 full time on a daily driver but with 91 being my only alternative, it seems kinda risky...or am i missing something?

I use Lucas as well as I'm gone for a month or two at a time.

You have to switch to a 91 octane tune..

So basically run the tank of e85 to 0 miles to empty on the e85 tune, fill up completely with 91 octane then load the 91 octane tune then run that tank to 0 miles to empty , then fill up completely with e85 then load the e85 tune.
