I'm looking for guidance to reduce the risk of heat soak on my '21 Roush SC. Primarily for track days. Roughly 6 times per year.

There are multiple options:

https://icchiller.com/product/2020-mustang-gt-pnp-supercharger-intercooler-chiller-street-track/
https://www.steeda.com/roush-422270...5WS69Fkh9wLtt4jKk6mDt1P4LIPBT9D89Q0vTqcxVXSFR
https://jokerzperformance.com/product/pwr-roush-2650-upgraded-coolant-bricks/

or simply an upgraded radiator like this one: https://www.mishimoto.com/ford-mustang-gt-performance-radiator-2015.html

I am leaning towards the Jokerz brick AND Mishi radiator due to the integration into existing components.

Appreciate your thoughts.

All of the upgrades/mods you mentioned are decent options. I have no experience with the IC Chiller product, so I do not want to say anything negative.

Nevertheless, I have the FI Interchiller stage 2 kit on my 22' Roush P2 s550. My car never pulls timing, nor does it overheat even in the most extreme temps.

I have posted a pic below of the kind of IAT2 temps you can expect with the FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit.

Lemme say that this kit will turn your car into a road course MONSTER which eats the track. FI Interchiller says their stage 2 kit has a "drag valve" which is really just a solenoid.

The point is when the drag valve is engaged it reroutes all the freon to the Roush Kit. The coolant flow is dependent upon your rpm range. In other words, as you are moving through the gears at higher rpm the more your supercharger gets chilled.

The FI Interchiller is a remarkable produce and @beefcake can get you hooked up with a solid deal.

Good Luck!

The Fi interchiller is a great kit & helps out a lot. I run one on the our 24 shop car and drove around while it was mid 90's out and iat's were in the 60's. Let me know if I can help you out with a kit or answer any other questions you might have.

Got one from Beefcake for my Roush set up and now on my Whipple car. I can confirm IATs stay in the 60s in the 90 degree heat.

While sitting at idle, its not uncommon for me to see 190-200.

While cruising, around 185

And doing a hardcore pull 200+

I personally noticed the biggest difference in CHT when we installed the Reische 170 thermo. Seemed to go down significantly which is a good thing.

Thanks. I tend to close down my track time at ~240, which is what I am trying to avoid.

I think the addition of the FI Interchiller Stage 2 kit and the Reische 170 thermostat will definitely help, I know it did for my car.

Again, I think those who do not run the FI Interchiller do not understand how truly remarkable this is. FI Interchiller is an amazing mod which does not get the recognition and appreciation it deserves.

To have a 3.8 Whipple 40-50 degrees below ambient in the hottest months of the summer is incredible.

Well played, Sir

I have the IC Chiller with the optional bypass kit so I can run just the Intercooler for night the chiller isnt needed or when just cruising the highway with my wife. Works awesome and excellent customer service as well. I have had it on my car now for about two years. One of the best things I did. No more heat soak!
