Roush S3 - Thoughts on oil

Have a 19 RS3 just rolling over at 1000 miles. Want to change oil. Roush recommends 5w-50w. Thoughts on this from those already owning SC S550's. This is a fun driver with occasional WOT from rolls.

What exactly does the roush manual say?

I ask because I would tend lean toward mobil1 5w50 due to its a3/b4 rating over the motorcraft oil, but mobil1 doesn’t carry the Ford wss-931 spec.

I was told the Motorcraft 5w50 full synthetic is what was put in my engine and that is what was recommended. Make sure whoever does the change knows to use 5w50 AND 10 quarts of it.
