How much louder is the Roush AB then either Ford Racing Tour or Sport cat-back? I didn't want anything to loud and definitely no drone. I started with the FRPP Tour, now you guys have me considering the Roush AB.

It is pretty loud when you get on it, but isnt bad while at idle. I actually picked mine up used (less than 30 miles) from a guy with a convertible who said it was too loud for his wife with the top down. He actually had just gotten a Ford Racing setup. It sounded good (anything is better than stock lol), but nowhere as pissed off as the Roush does. I do not think it is "too loud" and am very happy with my choice especially compared to my 14. My wife even mentioned (all on her own) how much "quieter" the 15 Roush is. I definitely think it is deeper, but also believe the sound deadening in the 15s helps alot. If you youtube CJ Pony Parts 2015 Roush they have a great review of the Roush with and without the resonator delete that show exterior/cabin noise. Those videos are pretty much what sold me on Roush.

My main concern was that I didn't want something too loud. The Roush definitely isn't too loud. But they are also much much better than stock

Thanks for the video! Just to clarify...you had the stock resonator in those?
Yes, stock resonator in place.

Oh, and absolutely zero drone. I think that's what the resonator does.

Its between these 2 for me as well. What gives me pause about the MBRP is that some have reported it doesnt sound pleasant at WOT. For the Roush I would prefer not to cut because my car is leased. I guess i could just have the original mufflers welded back in...

sound is so subjective, so say that the mbrp doesn't sound good at wot, is like saying blondes are ugly, some will prefer blondes', some won't, everyone has their own taste, and you just need to taste something you like

Hey btw, roush and mbrp exhaust are both made in USA right? just curious since I have to bring it back to canada, and if it's made in USA I don't have to pay duties.

Installed my X pipe last week. Will be picking up my Roush AB in the morning for install! I was in your same shoes. These three vids helped me a lot too. Roush all day.

Roush too raspy for anyone?
It is really raspy with the x-pipe.

I just had my lethal h-pipe installed. It for sure did tone down the rasp, but it is still there to a degree in the top of the RPM range. I am going to drive around with it for a few more months and see if I can live with it. If not, I am going to see if I can buy the Borla Stinger muffler and get the roush mufflers cut out. I love the sound of the stinger mufflers with hpipe on my 03 Cobra. I know the 4.6 has a different firing order vs. the Coyote but zero rasp and a beautiful tone at all rev points.

The Roush setup with our resonator delete is pretty bad ass.

just took my roush axle back off and installed MBRP street. The roush was loud with the resonator delete but beyond LOUD when I put the longtube headers on. The MBRP street sounds amazing.

Our exhaust kits do tend to be somewhat on the aggressive side but its all a matter of opinion. The sound should not change as they do not contain any packing material. 304 Stainless as well.
