So you had your car on the dyno but you don't have a sheet to show us? If you don't have data to show us then why would you claim this. I'm just looking for facts and real data so I can have the best mods for my car. I'm in no way trying to come down on you. Cheers!!! Let's see them dyno sheets!!!

Your experience is not unique, but particular to your situation. An NA car is not going to get more than a couple HP from a catback. Since you have a blower, the stock exhaust would be a legitimate restriction, and going aftermarket, particularly to a 3" system, would allow for more power. I don't necessarily doubt that you got these results, but do you have the charts to show people?

Earlier this year I put my car on the dyno with other enthusiasts in my area...at the time I did not have my headers on the car. I dynoed 419 h/p - at the time my mods were MBRP Race catback, Steeda CAI, and the car had a tank of E-85 (Lund-tuned) in it. I'm not at home to post up the dyno sheet. I don't think the added power came from the catback alone and the CAI and E-85 did nothing

Ok that's great! Now dyno the same car with out the cat back and show me the difference the cat back made. I'm just looking for real facts. Now this thread is out of control! Cheers!

I'm willing to bet almost anything his 419 whp would be close to unchanged if he switched back to the stock catback. Catback power gains on these cars when NA are usually less than gains from an intake (not talking intake manifold). Especially if stock cats and stock headers are still on the car.

Come on man that's senseless. Why would I do that???
My MBRP is a Frankenstein set-up now, the H was removed and replaced with an X and I added Dynomax bullets to try and minimize the obnoxious sound that long tube headers without cats tend to emitt. I'm not here to argue/troll, I'm simply stating what my #s were since you stated that the MBRP CATBACK makes additional power.

I do agree Terry is awesome in every way imaginable - he's a beast on the track and a beast when it comes to customer service :hail:
