Well, got them done but I don't recall anybody saying what a prick the fasteners are to tighten. I had the same thingy as Dave's behind the guard on the left side. Must be the alarm.
This made getting to the nuts on that side even harder than the right hand side. The instructions say to torque to 3.5 nm. Couldn't do that with my small torque wrench so I hope I will not have to revisit them in the future sometime.

Cut the holes with a Dremel 1 1/2 inch metal disc and took Dave's suggestion to drill 1mm holes after centre punching the locations for the 5/16 holes.
I think that Roush could have made the fastening method more straight forward. As well as 6 studs with nuts on each side there are 3 push nuts on each side. The logic of the push nuts eludes me.
End of the day I am reasonably happy with how they turned out.

Also took the opportunity while the Rokbloks mudflaps were off to run a length of 3M VHB down the back where pebbles would allways collect. Used adhesive primer as well just to make sure.

Wow! First time I've seen the vents body color (other than black). I'm very impressed.

Thanks Nathan. Had to be that way to match with the hood vents.

Also, leaving the grilles black gives an excellent contrast. If you had painted the grille's the same as the body color, the vents might have looked a little bit toyish, so-to-speak. Good choice.

Thanks Dave. Just might be the last mod I do. Don't want it looking overdone.
