I may get flamed into the next century on this one, but I am looking for black very subtle fender flares, like the ones you see on the performance vettes. Just a simple black flare that is 1-2 inches and has a little bit of a mud flap. I would like to keep my paint very fresh and I live in an areas where I have a traverse a section of road that is just hard packed, not paved. These tires pick up everything and it feels like hail.

Found https://www.mustangdepot.com/OLC4/Exterior/fender.htm (top ones) but wanted slightly better quality and ones that don't just use tape.

Would a clear protection film accomplish what you are looking for?

When you say you don’t want tape how do you want the flares to attach?

Well, trucks that I have owned have places for screws. I read posts where the adhesive kind don't work well and fall off. Judging by your comment I am guessing no good option other than adhesive tape.

As with everything... it depends. For very lightweight flares the adhesive tape should be just fine. Surface prep will be the key to good adhesion. Make sure you follow the instructions explicitly.
