Look I call things like they are The filter can be accessible through the fender liner but you cannot get it off without taking the front fascia off unless you want to bend your horn bracket up. The heat shield broke the first time I had to take it off because the push pins would not release...
Pmas may flow well but their quality is trash, the fender well is a pain in the ass to install and troubleshoot if you have issues like I did. Just get a JLT or Regular PMAS the whole low IAT thing is BS my IATs on my fenderwell are not any lower than they were on my JLT CAI I sold to get their...
No I replaced pretty much everything but the phasers and not gonna open it up again I'm just living with it. No biggie just got to the point I don't even notice it anymore because I'm so used to it.
Update on mine, I recently did comp stg 2 cams and replaced the solenoids also. So that means I’ve replaced the tensioners, guides, solenoids, and cams and Still chirping lol. I’ve learned to not care anymore. On bright side CJ and Cams are like peas and carrots cars hauls ass
So I talked to someone who had this issue on their F150 and they replaced the phasers and tensioners and chirp is still there. Anyone know the part number for the phasers? Only can find the complete timing kit online.
So I changed out the tensioners and guides and the chirp noise while it’s been drastically reduced is still there. So I’m gonna say this issue is 100% due to the phasers it’s just weird it’s only on one side. I may let the dealer check it out and see if they will put new phasers in there but I’m...
Got the tensioners and guides
Any updates? Dropped mine off to mechanic yesterday to get tensioners and guides replaced putting in the ford performance boss 302 upgraded tensioners and guides, he finished and said he ran the car for a few seconds and didn’t hear anything other than loud...
Glad you got it resolved, did you ever get any codes related to the phasers? Did you notice any decrease in performance etc. My hunch is it has more to do with the tensioners and guide since the tensioner basically pumps up as oil pressure increases. My mechanic said for some reason he thinks...
2022 GT and so I just did my OPG and CS in prep for boost and got the car back and a day or two later noticed this same exact noise and conditions. Before I even seen this thread I contacted the guy who did my OPG and he said the same as the Ford TSB that he thinks it is the tensioners. I...
So I just discovered this thread the other day I have a 22 GT 10r80, so far so good I am tuned by Lund and I sent a log in after halting adaptive learning and I can say that it absolutely cleaned up most wonky shifting I had after re learns. Lund confirmed that in the log the trans was still...
