Anyone have any experience with water and the Roush heat extractors and your Steeda CAI?

Roush heat extractors have less flow than what the factory ones do

yall aren't going to have an issue unless you hold a hose up to the extractor, let it flood, and crank the car, and nail it.

I've got the same set up and haven't experienced anything except some light abrasion on the hood liner from the Steeda air box.

Well if you think about it, the wind while moving and the air flow through the engine and vents, flow towards the windshield and outer direction. While in motion, even in down pour you won't be getting water in the vents.

Stop and go traffic, car washes, down pour on a parked car, snow accumulation and snow melting on the vent will get some water in there. The intakes are designed for that and they have a small drain hole behind the filter area! Just be sure the drain is good at all times!

That's why I am thinking of choosing AirRaid. The box should add an extra layer of protection to the filter.
