I must say that after changing the oil I am amazed at how wonderful of a product it is, a must have if you own a gen 6 mustang...

The oil seems to be too clean for needing changing... How many miles?

Not to sound snotty, but that's really a waste. Why don't you just do a Blackstone oil report? I do it for all my vehicles. Not only will it save money on changes, gives you heads up on potential problems, just saying.

You must work "a lot" :) I thought I would be able to keep the miles down....but I keep accidentally grabbing the wrong keys from the key hook.

I change it 2 times a year, car has 1932 miles on it and it is almost 3 years old. I like to waste money and I am over obsessed.

The future owner of your car wants to thank you for preserving his machine for his future enjoyment.

The Ronin oil drain valve is $80 from Amazon. A bit on the steep side, don't you think? Did you consider other makes?

Should check out the Femco valve with the drain hose attachment. I can drain it directly into the container with no mess and drop it off at auto zone.

Never had an issue with Fumoto valves either. All cheaper options. I'm sure there are a ton of options out there now today.

Well, good of you, the first step into fixing a problem, is to acknowledge that you have one

Damn. My ‘18 GT has 3100 miles and two oil changes. I better park it for a while.

Femco and Fumoto don’t work on the newer cars with the plastic drain plug. Our options are slightly more expensive.

I love my Ronin drain plug. I got it off someone selling it after selling their truck so only paid 40$, but even at full price I wouldn’t mind. I change my oil once a year and do the UOA from amsoil. Always come back fine. I have 10k on my 18, this last year I may have put a thousand on it though. ive worked from home since 2016, 7k is just trips back and forth to SoCal I’d bet. But it makes a nice garage ornament lol
