I have had several of my right side rocker push pins work loose causing a rattle at cruise. First discovered this when I had it up in the air to change the oil. It has happened again and one push pin is actually missing. Has anyone else had this happen on either side?

Yessir…crosswind made it more obvious, took me a while (and this forum) to figure it out.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Pretty common and makes a hell of a racket. Drove me nuts until I found out it was those pins. Hard to tell where the sound was coming from.

Was the solution just to replace the pins? I was considering setting them with silicone to prevent vibration backing them out. Thought or suggestions.

I had 3 loose pins, but once I reseated them they stayed put. I checked them periodically and never had an issue again. I think something during the original assembly process caused them to back out.

It's an issue across all platforms - usually just pressing the pins back in solve the issue and it does not come back. If the pin rattles after it's been pushed in, replace it with a new one.

I just noticed that the forwardmost pin on each of my rocker panels is missing on my Bullitt. I’m going to have to find replacement pins now. Can anyone post pics of what the front pins should look like? Thanks

I originally thought resetting the pins would take care of the issue but over time they worked their way out again and this time I found one MIA. Sounds like this is a known issue if it is common across all models and shame on my silly dealer for not being able to diagnose this when I first took it in for the noise.
