They sure throw the rocks!Yes. I have PPF going up to just about the top of the wheel arch from the door on back in front of the wheel. Has definitely saved the paint a few times, even with the rock guards. There are a lot of small rock leading down the road to my work from semi trucks being I work in an in industrial park. I've even had a few pop inside the car while turning at slow speeds. Iv'e started calling the cup 2's the rock thrower 9000's lol
I had PPF installed on the quarter panels from the "shoulder" down and from the door to the centerline of the wheel.
After 8300 miles, the PPF is definitely showing some rock damage. Just glad it's not the paint getting damaged.
I've had them come inside the car when the window is down, like you have.
