Rock Chips Anyone?

[TRACK CRAZY GT350]

I had 3m protection done on the whole front end before I even drove the car home. Then with only 150 miles on the car was driving to the World of Wheels car show (got a first place!), and got a rock chip on the windshield right at eye level!

A local 3M installer told me that the 3M film kit was not available for the 16 GT350. How did your installer do it?

I noticed the aluminum hood is very delicate, getting bruised at the slightest thing thrown towards it.. like a canadian..

Suntek has the complete template for the GT350 that's how we have been doing these shelby's

Take out your front seat and get a wider interior mirror taxi's use and remove your mirrors on track day's less drag.

Suntek has the complete template for the GT350 that's how we have been doing these shelby's

I ended up using the Suntek template for the bumper since a full wrap was going a bit more labor intensive, turned out very nice. Went with a fully wrapped hood as well

I did not, ended up going with a well known local shop (Omega Werks) who uses Suntek. Very nice work and worth the price IMO.

Full hood is as easy as the half hood if you bulk it but at least you got it done over the stripes I hope.

Yeah that was the intent to protect the stripes, they used a single piece from a 60" roll to do the hood.

I might go back and have them lay a strip over the rest of the stripes as well

You still want to do your car if so i have a new product from Europe called Bodyfence by Hexis they are a car wrapping company that do car wraps and clear wraps same product but with no dry I been doing cars with it for a week now very very good cant see it on car when done make paint look like clear glass and if you try making it with a permanent marker others cant take it off or very hard to this one wipes right off.
