I have a question that I need help with. I'm going to get some suspension parts installed next week and so want to get everything squared away while I'm at it.

If drive down a road with any irregularities or bumps, the road tugs my steering wheel, like BIG time. If I let go of the steering wheel I would go off the road. Seriously bad. Didn't notice it until I had my bumpsteer kit installed. My alignment specs are a bit off but I don't think that would be causing the issue I'm having. I have a feeling that the bumpsteer kit was installed improperly which is causing this but honestly I have no idea.

Simply going over bumps should not be actually turning my steering wheel. I didn't notice it right away so it may be getting worse over time.

If I can get a good idea what it is, I can tell my shop what to do. I am going to a different shop than the one which installed the bump steer kit.

I bet the bump steer kit is off. That is the symptom it should fix so if it is set incorrectly it stands to reason it would make it worse.

I have -2.1 and -2.3 camber (L/R) in the front and -1.9 and -2.4 in the rear. 0.05 and 0.04 front toe and 0.06 and 0.01 rear toe. Caster I don't remember but I think it was 7.8 and 7.6. Thrust angle -0.01

What springs do you have again?
Ford Racing Track springs. The guy who installed the bumpsteer kit- he didn't realize (idk how) that I had camber bolts in the front and he also didn't know that rear camber was adjustable on this car. But I don't know whether it's my tires, my alignment or the bumpsteer kit but now something doesn't feel right. It feels kind of twitchy now and as I said if I let go of the steering wheel it will move significantly. Not that I routinely do that because I have two hands on the wheel 99% of the time. But it's jerking the steering wheel and when I am holding it. Steering mode doesn't seem to make any difference either.

Inclined to think it is something to do with the bumpsteer kit but I'm not ruling it my alignment either. I wonder could this be tramlining of the wheels? Maybe too much negative camber or cross camber such that camber thrust is causing this?

Take a detailed pic of your bump steer kit both sides and post. Need to be able to see the spacer configuration.

You said after you got it installed it was riding great, all of those symptoms were gone. Did something change? Did you have him do a 4 wheel alignment or just install and adjust the bump steer?

Not sure. But I have a tendency to exaggerate things in either direction, so it's likely it was never as good or as bad as I say it is. Once I get something in my head, I tend to exaggerate. Idk whether it's anxiety or whatever but it's a thing I tend to do.

I had him install and adjust the bumpsteer kit and do 4 wheel alignment. But I do think the alignment is off and potentially that's all this is. But I want to get it checked out all the same.

It's not "yanking" the steering wheel. I don't think it's AS bad as I made it seem, so I apologize for that. But something though is not quite right, whether it be alignment or the bumpsteer itself.
